3 Dark Chocolates in mini size, making a great sampling kit to share or small gift.

We've selected three unique single origins at varying percentages for an experience spanning from 70% to an aged 99%. The percentage marks the amount of our house roasted cacao in the bar- all we added was a bit of organic raw fair trade cane sugar and cocoa butter. 

The Purist

How does it taste?  We're turning it up to nearly 100% with this flavorful dark for our fans that enjoy a low sugar lifestyle. Flavor profile with hints of hazelnut, light vanilla, and brown butter. 

What pairs well with it? Goes well with dried fruit, pecorino cheese, pu-erh tea, and dry red wine.

74.5% Dominican

How does it taste?  Roasted black olive, malt, and date.

What pairs well with it? Triple-crème brie, candied almond, rooibos tea, and creme brûlée.

Ingredients Organic Finca Elvesia cacao from the Dominican Republic, organic raw fair trade sugar, + organic cacao butter.

72% Wild Bolivia

How does it taste?  Caramel, almond butter, and malt.

What pairs well with it? Porter or stout beer,  Boerenkaas cheese, and pear.

Item dimensions in inches:  3.25 Tall x 3.25 Wide x .33 Thick. Please allow for slight variation - this is a handmade product with handmade paper wrapper that also varies in thickness as well as weight. 

Maker process These single origin chocolates are crafted from bean to bar by our 10 employee team lead by Nathan Miller and Chelsea Russo. We start with the raw beans that are hand sorted for quality. Once sorted we roast the cacao, stone grind until the mouth feel of the chocolate lets us know it's time to remove (usually around 3 days), and temper in small batch. Once the bars are molded, our team inspects each one for cosmetic beauty and uniform look. To finish of this item we wrap it in a handmade craft paper that's hand dyed, sun dried on screens, and sustainably produced. We hope that as you enjoy this mini bar collection - the feel, taste, and experience is a unique pleasure.
