We're back from San Francisco & excited to share that on Thursday, January 8th 2015 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, the Good Food Awards Ceremony recognized 11 categories of winners, including chocolate manufacturing. Nathan Miller Chocolate was honored as 1 of 10 of the nations best bean to bar entries selected by blind taste test.
Handcrafted in Chambersburg, PA from the bean to the bar, the Ghana chocolate was an easy submission choice for us. Our customers helped us select the Ghana 70% dark chocolate bar by making it one of our top sellers, we value our customer’s feedback and were happy to see our
Ghana bar bring Nathan Miller Chocolate nationwide recognition.
Nathan Miller Chocolate’s commitment to sustainable and responsible business is echoed in the Good Food Award’s criteria. One thing that drew us to The Good Food Awards is that their criteria fits closely with the model I’ve built my company on. It’s not just about a good-tasting or popular product, but on how the ingredients are sourced and processed. We are a small-scale producer and every step is done in-house at our Chambersburg, PA kitchen + café. Much time and attention go into the details of producing the finest quality product. To me, it’s equal parts art and technique. I chose to get the beans for this bar from Ghana because they are fair trade certified source that provides a well-rounded good flavor. The Ghana cacao is also used in our 55% Buttermilk and 45% Buttermilk bars, a couple more favorites of our customers.
Thank you all for supporting us as we grow our business in Chambersburg, PA.
